Our small town of 300 celebrates Independence Day in a BIG way! Festivities on July 4th begin with a 2 mile and 10 K run followed by a Kiddie Parade and Grand Parade on Main Street. After the parade the festivities will continue at Doc Smith Park. We will have craft vendors, kids’ games, inflatables, food vendors, live music, a pie social, live action entertainment, community competitions and a HUGE fireworks display at dusk. This year the celebration will begin early on Thursday afternoon July 3rd at Doc Smith Park with Food and Draft Vendors, Kids inflatables, live music and Truck and Tractor pulls.
