Escape to Shady Nook Resort, nestled in a secluded spot right on the Chippewa Flowage. We offer a range of accommodations, from cozy cabins to tent and small pop-up campsites, plus a seasonal RV park. Our classic log cabins, built in the 1940s, provide comfortable lodging with a touch of history. In our rustic lodge, you’ll find a log bar serving cocktails, beer, soda, candy, and pizza. We also stock bait, gas, basic supplies, and, of course, plenty of local fishing wisdom!

You’ll love our famous maple old fashioneds, crafted with pure maple syrup tapped right here at Shady Nook. And don’t miss our delicious Sunday Bloody Marys – so good, we offer them all week long!

Shady Nook Resort offers a beautiful, private sandy beach with amazing sunset views. Enjoy our outdoor fire pit by the lodge on Friday and Saturday evenings. We’re a family-run resort proud of our classic “up north” feel with modern updates. Expect a friendly staff and clean cabins.
